Composition

  • Antartik™ Sponge is a bone substitute made of hydroxyapatite and ß-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP).

Indications

Antartik™ Sponge Antartik Sponge was designed to fill different types of bone defects, whether it is from surgical, traumatic or pathological origin. Specially in the following cases:

  •  Bone sampling (compact-spongy bone sampling, tendon graft)
  •  Bone tumour resection
  •  Osteosynthesis
  •  Arthrodesis, spondylodesis
  •  Pseudoarthrosis
  •  Osteotomy (sternotomy)
  •  Other small bone defects
